POSITION SUMMARY:

The Kiely Family of Companies is looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for leading gas projects to completion and assisting Operations. In this role you will utilize your knowledge and experience to assist and take lead on a variety of projects for Kiely’s PA Gas Division.

  • Ensure the application of relevant Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies on all project activities.  Promote a strong safety culture in project and functional teams, and in work undertaken by contractors and suppliers
  • Accountable for the safe and successful completion of projects in compliance with regulations and within established standards and other project management parameters
  • Develop, review and approve the project schedule, ensuring that key milestones are identified
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and third-party providers in development of a project 
  • Deliver the project at the sanctioned cost, schedule and performance criteria
  • Monitor operational performance and act quickly on underperformance
  • Responsible for the development of project schedules, cash flows, and cost estimates in response to Client requests 
  • Responsible to coordinate cross-functional communications between all departments (Engineering, Environmental, Design/Drafting, Survey, and Inspection)
  • Oversee and complete project ‘as-built’ requirements per vendor requirements
  • Deliver the pipeline project, blanket pipeline work and/or station within the approved cost, schedule and performance criteria
  • Provide required detailed project reporting to the client
  • Manage manpower requirements for projects
  • Review and approve timesheets
  • Manage Operator Qualifications, within ISNet, EWN or other client tracking software and assure client compliance
  • Perform job safety audits
  • Participate in root cause analysis and safety meetings

Competencies:

  • Knowledge of oil and natural gas midstream industry
  • Knowledge of industry codes; 49 CFR 192 and 195, ASME B31.8, API 1104, etc.
  • Background in as-built data capture
  • Understanding of oil and gas expansion projects from feasibility concept, design, construction, startup, commissioning and transfer to operations
  • Understanding of utility expansion/replacement projects, especially in field construction and execution
  • Must be a highly motivated individual with strong organization and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • High degree of initiative and independent judgment
  • Knowledge of CAD program capabilities
  • Understanding and ability to utilize ‘as-built’ data capture hardware/software; GIS, Arcview, GNSS receivers with a RTK or SBAS signal, to capture as-built data in the field and upload to vendor databases, “Esri Field Maps”
  • Knowledge of Operator Qualification (OQ’s) programs (ISNet, EWN, VeriForce, etc), training, performance and OQ Span of Control
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and limited job definition to complete assigned tasks
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements
  • Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines

Work Environment:

This job operates both in an office environment, as well as on project sites.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. 

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position.

Travel:

Travel is required to be on-site at various projects as assigned and field offices.  Local day travel maybe required when working out of a primary office location as well.  Overnight travel less than 10%.

Required Education and Experience:

Minimum of an associate’s degree in engineering or surveying
Five or more years of experience within the gas construction industry

Benefits and Compensation:

Position offers competitive pay, benefits, paid vacation, and health/dental insurance.

Full-time: $75,000 -$90,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
