Position Summary

We are looking for a fully remote Financial Analyst with 3 or more years of experience in construction and / or engineering environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within dynamic multi-entity organization, along with excellent communication skills.

This full-time position is remote.

 Essential Job Duties:

• Partners with Business Unit leaders reviewing and interpreting financial results and productivity reports.
• Analyze and explain account variances on financial statements and develop actions with business unit leaders.
• Prepares and present monthly financial exhibits in support of profitable operations.
• Assist with reviews and analysis of expenses.
• Reviews and recommends modifications to operating and accounting systems and procedures.
• Create budgets and projects support for multiple companies.
• Develop and maintain forecasts and financial projects including cash and tax forecasting.
• Create ad hoc analysis for management.
• Develops financial models and exhibits for acquisitions and divestitures. And is a major participant in acquisitions, divestitures, and company strategy.
• Completes all levels of analysis and reconciliation related to financial statement analysis, complex investment funding reconciliations (investments to systems), cash flows and in some cases audit exhibits.

Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with 3 - 5 years related experience in similar role. Utilities, Heavy Highway or Engineering industry is a plus
• Experience with Sage Timberline CRE 300 and Prophix highly desired along with multiple system environments.
• Strong organization and communication skills – interpersonal and written
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Must have excellent work ethic; willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially during period close and reporting cycles
• Proven Problem Solving / Analysis abilities
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment requiring minimal supervision
